I presume the name in question is the person that created the repository but is it necessary to have it on display? Is its purpose to provide a point of contact for people browsing the web? Perhaps it can be edited out of the webpage?

I don't want Kim to be spammed by emails relating to Platform UI when I should be the one getting spammed.

+1 for less Kim :-)

It's not random, it's the "owner" of the repo. Kim asked for them, she owns them.

I'd rather not be spammed by emails relating to Platform UI.

We can change who the owner is ... but that affects file permissions, and I'd need the PMC's +1 for this.

Remy, I can bring up at our planning call if the permissions should be changed. Perhaps the could be chowned as someone else when our migration is complete, but it perhaps it doesn't matter either. I haven't gotten any spam so far...

Sure. Would be good to bring it up just to increase awareness. If no one ends up minding then we can just leave it as is.

I think no one minds :)
