Description Guillaume Polet CLA 2011-08-23 10:33:37 EDT
Build Identifier:

Cancelling the update of dependencies and/or snapshots should be much more efficient/quicker

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Click update snapshots on a Maven project
2. Press the "Cancel" button of the progress bar
3. --> The process goes until the end instead of interrupting itself

On slow connections this is really frustrating since Maven/M2E can take over an hour to complete thoses steps and it completely blocks the interface.

When I press the "cancel" button of the progress bar, I expect it to stop the running operation within a few seconds if not instantly
