This is a general RPC platform feature request, altough I will describe it on usecase for java development:
When developing java application, I have sometimes more that 20 editors opened and from time to time I would like to reduce number of the editors so I can orientate better in the workspace. Currently, there are three options for closing editors when a editor tab is right-clicked (context menu for the editor tab): "Close", "Close others" and "Close All".
I belive that it would be handy to have a fourth option, something like "Close all to the right". This action would close all editors, which are positioned to the right of current editor.
Justification: Usually, when "cleaning" the editor area this way, I want to keep some of the files opened. Currently, there are only two ways how to achieve that: Either select one of the files I want to keep opened and click on "Close others" - then remembering which of the files I want to reopen, find them and open them again. Or going through the list of the opened editors and closing one by one only those I want really closed. Both ways are time consuming.

With the new option, I would be able to reorganize opened files by drag&dropping their tabs - so I would place all editors which I want to keep open "to the left" side and in comibnation with new action "close all to the right" I would have a fast way how to cleanup my workspace.

Reproducible: Always
