I'm trying to install some m2e connectors on eclipse indigo. The content.xml downloaded during the "Calculating Requirements and dependencies phase" is about 27 MB at  ~10 kb/s. During this download the whole UI is blocked because of the Marketplace window. It would be very handy to run marketplace operations in background.
