[Load] button from project "Discovery Options" would collect scanner discovery entries but does not take effect immediately for "per file" profile. For the settings to appear a trick is needed, such as running a build or closing/reopening a project. That triggers Scanner Configuration Builder which finishes the discovery process.

This patch gives an idea for a fix but does not work reliably. It works if a user quits "Discovery Options" with "Cancel" but not if the user chooses "OK". Presumably, the configuration from properties overwrites the settings over on "OK".
