In cross tab you can add string in the empty cells that's great but when you are working with other data types such as numbers your number is still is treated as string so when exporting the report to excel the number appears as text and gives an error so adding feature that enables the user to add the data type will be good idea

Reproducible: Always

Hi There,

By "add a string in the empty cell" do you mean use the label report item? If you are using "data" report item and set the data type to int/double etc you can find that the exported excel is correct.

Thanks.
