Summary: [GTK/Linux] Remove resizing grip from splash screen

Description Alexey Romanov CLA 2011-08-17 06:17:47 EDT
Build Identifier:

Under GTK, Eclipse splash screen and splash screens of RCP applications have a resizing grip in bottom-right corner, which looks a bit ugly and is useless (since the splash screen can't actually be resized using it). Eclipse works around this slightly by covering it up with the progress bar, but 1) it's still noticeable; 2) this isn't suitable for all RCP applications.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Launch Eclipse and look at the splash screen

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.

In my recent installation on Linux I do not see this. I think it must have been fixed at some point.
