Description Steffen Pingel CLA 2011-08-16 11:49:18 EDT
I have excluded a directory in a .gitignore file but, nevertheless, it shows in the Synchronize view (see screenshot). The git commit dialog properly ignores the reference directory.

$ cat org.eclipse.mylyn.help.sdk/.gitignore
/doc.cnv.txt
/reference/

is this a duplicate of bug 322454 ?
Comment 3 Steffen Pingel CLA 2011-08-16 12:23:43 EDT
Shouldn't this be fixed in the latest nightly?
Comment 4 Dariusz Luksza CLA 2011-08-16 15:34:54 EDT
Actually latest nightly contains change I32bb63c96676f8213b800558e7d52eb67ae30b2a that slightly change sync-view implementation. But this change wasn't intended to fix this bug, and I'm quite surprised that it could fix something. Never the less if now this issue doesn't occur could we close this bug ?

Still seeing this with 1.1.0.201108171106. It happens when I have an active synchronization and then do something like a Tycho build outside of the workspace. Generated directories (e.g. target) show up in the synchronize view after a refresh.
