Can you help me to understand what your really trying to do? A private mailing list is not a problem, and project management of a mailing list isn't unheard of. Do you care what this list is called? -M. example: http://en.gravatar.com/site/signup/ I would like to sign jetty up to have a nice gravatar image to use in places like github, etc but I don't want to register jetty-dev@eclipse.org as then the confirmation mail would go to a public list... so for things like that it might be nice to have a jetty-private@eclipse.org list or straight out email address I would use a personal email address for that but then I would have to muck around with making sure greg and jan had access to it, etc etc so I was hoping you guys would have a way in place for this :) cheers Ah, ok. We don't really provide email accounts(a la gmail) for committers or projects. I'm willing to create a jetty-private mailing list, but first have to ask if this isn't something perhaps 'better' handled via Gmail(or something similar)? -M. well that is certainly another option and if this is not something you guys would normally do then I can certainly do that it sounds like this is the case so before you go off creating one offs to make me happy, how about I just go do that? thanks! |
