If eclipse and its workspace directory reside in a directory with a overly long folder name eclipse will start but crash on a restart.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Use a freshly downloaded eclipse classic
2. create a folder 1234567890123456789012345678901234567890123456789013245679801234567890
3. Unzip eclipse there
4. Select the workspace folder to reside in 1234567890123456789012345678901234567890123456789013245679801234567890/workspace
5. Start Eclipse
6. Use File->Restart to restart eclipse
7. A Windows error dialog appears stating that eclipse has crashed

I cannot reproduce it using 3.7.2 on Win7 and on WinXP. Do you have more details about the crash like screenshot of the error dialog, javacore or maybe .log file from the workspace .metadata?
