Not quite sure I follow. You want one file in Eclipse to link to multiple files in your hard disk?

No, I want to create multiple links at once.(In reply to comment #1)

We'd first have to let people create multiple files in the one wizard though this goes against the convention of most other wizards.

Thanks for the answer.
Maybe the creation of new files and links should be in a different wizard (after all it's in the 'advanced' section, which is hidden by default, so it won't be confusing for normal users). So there could be a distinct menu item for creating links, and there you could select multiple files at once, without affecting the simple New file wizard.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.

If the bug is still relevant, please remove the "stalebug" whiteboard tag.
