The "core" entry needs to be removed from our .gitignores in R4_development, R3_development, R3_7_maintenance .. R3_4_maintenance

I'm in the process of cherry-picking the fix to 3.4, 3.5, 3.6, and 3.7 maintenance. Just trying to figure out the most painless way to do this with EGit without causing multiple refreshes and rebuilds of my workspace. :)
