Currently, AdviceFileParser understands the id, severity, range and description properties (per bug #279015), but not the url property. As such, it is impossible to automatically generate a content.xml whose release notes for the product will point to a web page (as recognized by UpdateSingleIUWizard).

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Add an update.url argument to a product's p2.inf.
2. Run the p2 publisher.
3. Open content.jar and look at the product's update tag in the generated content.xml. The URL is not there.

Is the patched tested and known to work? I get compile errors (uncaught exception from the URI constructor) when I apply your patch to my workspace.

Hey guys,

I found some additional places that need to be adjusted in order to finally get the url entry in a p2 site created by the p2 publisher.

I will add an updated patch.
This way we now are able to create updates with buckminster that are shown as a single IU site using the url defined in the p2.inf advice.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
