Reproduce easy with Controls Demo (org.eclipse.rap.demo):
- In ListTab.java change menuItem text to "Context menu item 123456789123465789".
- Open IE8, go to List and open menu. Then change zoom to 75% and open the menu again.
- Text "123456789123465789" does not appear anymore.

Does only hapen in IE8. IE9, Firefox and Chrome are ok.

This sounds like a rounding-error that browser often do when zoomed in/out. On pre-9 IEs this would be highly problematic to fix. I can reproduce this only when changing zoom while the menu is still open. Is this the case for you too? As long as its working in the zoom-level the application was started in i would tend to close this as WONTFIX.

You are right. If the application is started in the desired zoom-level the menuItem is displayed correct.

Yes, you can close this as WONTFIX. Thanks.

Closed as WONTFIX in agreement with the reporter.
