Summary: [Import/Export] [unix] "Import an archive" dialog does not remember "last good location"
Product: [Eclipse Project] Platform Reporter: Helmut J. Haigermoser <helmut.haigermoser>
Component: UIAssignee: Platform UI Triaged <platform-ui-triaged>
Status: CLOSED WONTFIX QA Contact:
Severity: normal
Priority: P3
Version: 3.7
Target Milestone: ---
Hardware: PC
OS: Linux
Whiteboard: stalebug

Description Helmut J. Haigermoser CLA 2011-08-05 07:23:06 EDT
Build Identifier: 3.7

When importing an archive file into a project successfully once the windows dialog remembers that location and reuses it in later attempts to import an archive file.

Not so the linux version, it opens some random other location, this should be aligned

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Import from Archive file into Project: finish
2.Import from Archive file a second time: browse does not bring me to the last archive

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
