Linux Mint 11 x64
Version: 3.8.0
Build id: I20110803-1800

After I accepted the update for the EE descriptions which installed the JavaSE-1.7 description, I went in and removed all of the other descriptions except for 1.4, 1.5, 1.6 and 1.7. After the restart I went back to the Errors/Warnings pref page so I could invoke the install wizard and check the wording (bug 353844), but when I got to the page none of the descriptions have been removed, even though they have successfully been uninstalled.

The problem was that prior to the 08/03 build I had individually installed EE descriptions I wanted, and when I accepted the EE description feature update it installed the rest of them (OK I guess), but then when you try to remove the individually installed ones it has no effect. I had to remove the EE description feature to remove all of the descriptions and then add back the individual ones I wanted.

I guess this is not a new problem.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
