Make sure you have org.eclipse.m2e.logback.feature installed (it comes with "for java developers" epp package and when m2e is installed from m2e from eclipse marketplace). logback configuration is located under .metadata/.plugins/org.eclipse.m2e.logback.configuration and it does not print anything to the console by default unless -console eclipse runtime parameter was specified. If still have problems, feel free to reopen this bug but in this case please zip and attach eclipse eclipse configuration details, .metadata/.plugins/org.eclipse.m2e.logback.configuration/* and eclipse .log file. |
Created attachment 200790 [details] Example of console output - with lots of stuff from m2e M2e is quite verbose. It is annouying to see a lot of traces, logs or stack coming from Tycho when reading the console while developing plugins. The maven output of m2e should be put in another console.
