I installed m2e plus slf4j. There is no output on maven console, neither with activated "show console on every output" nor when I switch manually to this console.
Team members running Windows 7 are not affected by this issue.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Switch to Maven console
2. Do something within Maven projects (clean, compile, update dependencies, ...)
3. No output seen

Given that maven console works for other members of your team (and most of m2e users in general), I'd say the problem is specific to you particular system. To help us narrow it down, can you confirm the problem using *fresh* and *clean* (i.e. no additional bundles, new worksapce) Eclipse 3.7 "Indigo" "for Java Developers" distribution from http://eclipse.org/downloads/?

Thanks for the tip, I'll try a fresh install, but it is also reproducible between different XP users. XP users in my team get no output, Win 7 user do.

I tried a fresh Indigo install and now it magigally works. Same with my colleagues. Thanks a lot.
