The code has been committed, but I still need to change the doc accordingly. Moving this to M4. Marking this fixed because the code work was done. If you still think doc updates are needed please open a new bug. |
Created attachment 200375 [details] New look and feel We are proposing a new design (attached in a screenshot). The new design provides a simpler interface for adding a remote site (i.e. copy and paste a URL instead of filling out protocol, host, port, and path separately). We removed the 'View Properties' dialog and instead made the Test Connection, Add, and Edit dialogs all use the same dialog format (as shown in the screenshot). This allows for a more consistent look and feel, as well as better code re-use and maintainability. Also, you can Test your IC connection in the Add / Edit dialogs which allows you to easily change typos.
