After upgrading my Ubuntu to 11.04, Eclipse degraded to the point that it's hard to use. On my desktop PC Eclipse has errors, but it's usable. The pc has an nvidia graphics card with proprietary nvidia drivers. On my laptop I have an nvidia card also, but I can't install the proprietary drivers, so compiz doesn't work, and graphics is generally bad. This affects Eclipse more than other programs.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Start eclipse
2.select menu
3.menu options appear only after hovering with mouse.

I'm pretty sure this is a dup (I'm hunting for the other bug).  In the meantime, try launching with GDK_NATIVE_WINDOWS=1
