The repo browser is useful for mapping or adding rules for specific features or products via context menu actions. One right clicks the IU in question and a number of options are available. However, if a mapped repo is mapped more than once, we only see it appear once in the repo browser. Currently, all the context menu actions are linked to the mapped repo instance that was mapped first. So, what do I do if I want the action to apply to one of the other instances?

Thomas Hallgren suggests two things:

1. Make it illegal to add a mapped repo with the same location more than once to the same contribution. Throw and exception if someone tries to do this preventing it.
2. In cases where a repo has been mapped more than once add another layer to the repo browser context menu that allows you to select the instance you wish to work with. Given 1 mapped repos can be uniquely identified using a combination of Validation Set and Contribution labels.
