Description Jesse McConnell CLA 2011-07-15 16:14:05 EDT
java version "1.6.0_26"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_26-b03)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 20.1-b02, mixed mode)

from time to time I get full crashes from what look to be SWT issues based on a cursory look at the dumps

what version of Linux are you running ?

How often does that happen to you ?

Do you have any clipboard-monitor/helper type of application (like a applet) running at the time of the crash ?

Note that without a reproducible case it will be hard to make progress on this problem.

It has happened twice in two days..

its natty with the scrollbar overlay turned off

and yes, I know its pretty much impossible to resolve without it being reproducible but since it happened twice and I had the hotspot logs I figured I would open anyway.

the last time it manifested it seemed like other things were going south as well, I right clicked on a file to delete it and the delete dialog popup had no buttons...other items like that were missing things as well for about 5 minutes culminating in the cut and paste that had the whole browser just dump and disappear.

i am fine with you closing it, or leave it open and if I get other instances of it I'll post them up as well

cheers

I will keep it up but we will only be able to work on this when more information is available.

Well I'll reopen if I have more information on this.
