As per bug #351157 it looks like the source bundle generator does not consider the OSGI-INF localization when reading localized bundle-vendor and bundle-name.

I'm attaching the original CDT 8.0 org.eclipse.cdt.codan.checkers.ui plugin, from which incorrect source has been generated.

Sorry Martin, there are no committers actively working on PDE Build.

I think the code is in org.eclipse.pde.internal.build.builder.SourceGenerator#generateSourcePlugin. There is a block of code which does the localization. 

Patches are welcome.

Currently we are not actively enhancing PDE build anymore. Therefore, I close this bug as WONTFIX. 

Please reopen, if you plan to provide a fix.
