This looks like a clash with another plugin's autocomplete (JPA JPQL support).

The autocomplete works in java files.

Environment info:

Scala IDE for Eclipse 2.0.0.beta07-29-201106291626-94328fa

Eclipse:
Version: Indigo Release
Build id: 20110615-0604

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. download eclipse indigo for jee developers
2. install Scala IDE for Eclipse 2.0.0.beta07
3. open any scala file and try to use autocomplete
