Description Glyn Normington CLA 2011-07-01 06:11:20 EDT
If I follow a link in the server's list of bundles to the bundle dependency graph, no graph is displayed.

This bug appears to have been inherited from the dm Server tools as the latest version of these tools has the same problem.

(Also, once this is back to working, we need to check that the incoming/outgoing can be incremented ok as in STS, doing this puts STS into a >100% CPU spin and the only way out is to kill STS.)

CCing Kaloyan as the graph has been passed on to Libra. We'll probably need to collaborate on a fix.
Comment 2 Miles Parker CLA 2012-03-13 13:34:15 EDT
Are we contributing the graph to the server editor or is that Libra? If it's us then we should remove it from our implementation.
Comment 3 Leo Dos Santos CLA 2012-03-13 13:46:28 EDT
We're consuming the Bundle Graph from Libra now. We gave it to them, and they gave it back ;-p

There should be some plugin XML, probably in *runtime.ui that adds the page to the server editor. But I think it would be preferable to fix it rather than remove it.

I think it's in the code, but in any case I'll have a look. Had thought it might be some kind of generic feature. This is something we might want to explore turning into a view ala the PDE dependency graph.

In fact I filed a related bug to Libra last week:
373305: Unhandled event loop exception when refreshing Bundle Dependency graph in Virgo server editor
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=373305
Comment 6 Miles Parker CLA 2012-05-11 15:30:44 EDT
Yes, it's caused by that bug actually. Marking as dup and I'll submit a patch over there.

*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 373305 ***
Comment 7 Miles Parker CLA 2012-05-11 15:42:00 EDT
realized I shouldn't have marked this as dup, since the fact that it doesn't work on Virgo is an issue we need to track.
Comment 8 Leo Dos Santos CLA 2012-06-21 20:57:48 EDT
Latest Libra update fixes the problem in Virgo. Nice Job Miles, and thanks Kaloyan!
