Description

Note that a workaround for the kernel console is to rename the properties file in config to have a duff extension (like .backup), but we can't rename the config files in repository/ext otherwise the springdm plan will fail to deploy. A boolean property "enabled" is added to the ssh and telnet configuration. If it is true, then ssh/telnet is started. If it is false, ssh/telnet is not started. If the property is not present, its value is considered to be false. This fix is already submitted to the Equinox incubator repository. Targeting 3.0.0.RC1 as this is a "must fix". (In reply to comment #2) > A boolean property "enabled" is added to the ssh and telnet configuration. If > it is true, then ssh/telnet is started. If it is false, ssh/telnet is not > started. If the property is not present, its value is considered to be false. Sounds good. > > This fix is already submitted to the Equinox incubator repository. Ok, noting prereq of bug 352195 to integrate the Equinox fix. Closing this as it is fixed already in the supportability bundle. By completing bug 352195 which is targeted for 3.0.0.RC1 the fix will be integrated. I have set the enabled property to 'false' in the property files so that users can simply edit 'false' to 'true' without having to remember the name of the property. See kernel commit f157076e5804e388d0479ada2df3f6c1446ab48b. |
