Description Rüdiger Herrmann CLA 2011-06-30 04:20:50 EDT
Scrolling down the tree from the 'Complex Data' example with the mouse wheel only works for a couple of items. After a two or three items have been loaded and shown, the operation gets stuck. One needs to 'release' the mouse wheel and restart 'wheel-scrolling' for the next couple of items.

The described behavior applies to Chrome (v 12.x) only
Comment 2 Tim Buschtoens CLA 2011-06-30 05:08:26 EDT
I can't reproduce it with Chrome 12.0.742.112 in Windows 7 64. I can scroll from to to bottom in one go. Anything else i might have to do to reproduce it?
Comment 3 Ralf Sternberg CLA 2011-07-04 11:14:58 EDT
I also cannot reproduce it with the Thinkpad trackpoint + middle mouse button scroll feature and the current online demo.
Comment 4 Ralf Sternberg CLA 2011-07-04 15:25:28 EDT
Well that was nonsense - the online demo is still on 1.4. Tried again with HEAD but cannot reproduce either.
Comment 5 Ivan Furnadjiev CLA 2011-07-22 08:06:30 EDT
Works for me too - Chrome 13.0.782.55.

As no one from the team can reproduce it I will close it as INVALID. Rüdiger, please reopen if the issue persists in your environment.

The problem is still apparent (Windows 7 64bit, Chrome 13). It might be hardware-related, I am not using a regular mouse but the Thinkpad track point.

I'm also able to reproduce the problem on my machine. As I'm using the same infrastructure as Rüdiger does, we may change the platform values on this bug?

This seems to be an issue that is caused by the track point driver. After updating to the latest version (15.3.16.1) wheel-scrolling works fine again.
