Description Keith Wedinger CLA 2011-06-29 08:54:08 EDT
Build Identifier: 1.0.0.201106052308

My Eclipse Maven based project was created using m2eclipse 0.12.1.20110112-1712. When I open this project in Eclipse Helios (3.6.2) with m2e 1.0.0 installed, the Maven builder listed under Project Properties -> Builders is now listed as:

Missing builder (org.maven.ide.eclipse.maven2Builder).

m2e 1.0.0 should automatically convert the old Maven builder created by the older m2eclipse plugin version so that it is compatible with m2e 1.0.0.

The workaround for this issue is below.

1. Right click on the project in the Eclipse workspace and select Configure -> Convert to Maven Project
2. Open the project properties and delete the Missing builder entry.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a Maven project using Eclipse 3.6.2 and m2eclipse 0.12.1.
2. Open this project using Eclipse 3.6.2 and m2e 1.0.0.
3. Open project properties for the project and check the Builder properties.

There is no workspace migration from m2eclipse 0.12 to m2e 1.0. Please create new workspace and re-import the projects.
