Description Neil Hauge CLA 2011-06-28 13:40:38 EDT
It has been suggested that Dali should not re-export the latest EclipseLink XSD's but rather point to those XSD's (that are available) since they will be installed with the EclipseLink bundles. This would have the advantage of always shipping the latest schema regardless of when it is changed in the release cycle.

This would go against the general pattern established in WTP, but the difference here is that Dali has dependencies on the runtime that it supports, and as a result, it can do things differently.

See bug 349071 for more info.

It makes more sense to fix this in a feature release, as the 3.0.x stream won't actually benefit from this change. Targeting to next feature release.

Changed to point to XSD's in EclipseLink 2.4.0 M9
Completed in M5

Verified in Build I-3.4.0-20120119095402

Verified EL 2.4.0 xsd was updated to point to the xsd installed with the EL bundle. See the link to view test steps for verification.
