Curious Xtext Novice
The JPA editor is based on Graphiti framework, which uses EMF. Fortunately, it's not mandatory the visualized model to be EMF based, because the Eclipse JPA model is Dali, which is not EMF based. So, there is no M2M transformation involved here. I hope that answers your question. For such questions, perhaps the dali-dev mailing list is more appropriate than bugzilla.
