I can reproduce in 3.7 GTK. Works fine on 3.6 GTK and on 3.7 Windows 7. The problem also occurs in CustomControlExample > StyledText. Another case reported in bug 362568: Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open a text file in any editor 2. On a single line, add some whitespace and then a word 3.
