I have a viewer with checked items (so values are displayed). I click on the Name column which changes the sort order. However all the values in the Values column disappear. They only reappear if I uncheck and check an item.

It was necessary to maintain checked state outside the viewer in the model; otherwise the application or reapplication of sorters and filters changes the internal state of the viewer (without, curiously, affecting the actual checks on the boxes).
