Description Pascal Rapicault CLA 2011-06-21 19:56:58 EDT
When I download and unzip an Eclipse SDK, I can see 4 entries in the profile registry (p2/org.eclipse.equinox.p2.engine/SDKProfile.profile). However the first 3 entries are not relevant for the end user since they represent intermediary steps to the creation of the install, but worst is that if ppl were to reverse to any of those, it could cause the complete uninstallation of the SDK.

To avoid any confusion we should remove those spurious entries. This can be done by calling the director with the -purgeHistory option.

Thanks Pascal, I wasn't aware of the purge history option.
