Steps: 1.Create a folder in navigator. 2.Goto repo page and init this folder as git repo. 3.Add a file into this folder in the navigator. 4.Go to git status page on this folder. 5.Stage and commit the new file. The page freezes and "load status ' message stays there in the progress bar. Libing showed me the fix -- a null check -- go for it.
