Description Kim Moir CLA 2011-06-17 16:26:37 EDT
Were there sshd config changes made today? The reason I'm asking is that I can't login with RSA ssh shared keys to dev.eclipse.org this afternoon from my build machine. I was able to this morning. This means our builds can't run because they run as my userid.

You must be hard-coded to go to 'dev1', or 206.191.52.51, which we had taken down for part of the afternoon to replace some bad memory.

It's back in service now... but you should go through the load balancer (ie, dev.eclipse.org 206.191.52.50).

Yes, this was the problem. I had intermittent connection problems with dev.eclipse.org a long time ago so I had an /etc/hosts entry. I removed it to avoid this problem in the future. thanks :-)

Actually, I had to put the entry back. Had too many dropped connections when running a build. I know it's not recommended, but it's the only way I can avoid frequent CVS timeouts.
