Clone git://github.com/bokowski/empty.git in Orion and try to add a branch. JGit seems to not handle such clones well. I get an exception. The Git console seems to have the same problem. We can clone the repo there, but adding a branch fails.

Either we have it fixed in JGit, or maybe we should not allow to clone such repos as EGit does.

EGit doesn't forbid you to clone such a repo, but it warns you that the repo is empty.
