  This installation of Flash Builder was installed on 26th May 2011. This is the first "check for updates" that has been run.

For me, this looks like a problem of p2 and the Adobe update site but not a problem of MPC.

Travor, did I understand you right that you hit Help > Check for Updates?

It looks like this was setup in a 'shared install' mode. That is, the original install directory is 'read-only'. In this case, you cannot update. You must login as a user who can write to that install area, and perform the update as that user.
