Snippet

3.6.2 and HEAD

ShellListener#shellClosed(..) is called twice on Alt+F4 when a Browser widget has focus.

Can be seen in the SDK when an internal Web Browser editor or the Welcome screen is open (Alt+F4 Alt+F4 or Alt+F4 Esc shows a second exit dialog).

Snippet v2

This is a snippet, not a patch.

Just stumbled upon the bug again when trying out new builds and pressing Alt+F4 without closing the Intro browser before.

This bug was introduced in 3.7 M5 and still exists in 3.8 M4.
Maybe it is related to the changes made for bug 333493.

I would be very glad if this could be fixed, because this bug prevents me from adopting 3.7 or 3.8 for my RCP app.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.

If the bug is still relevant, please remove the "stalebug" whiteboard tag.
