In repository/ext I found the bundle. com.springsource.org.eclipse.jdt.core.compiler.batch-3.6.1.jar

I don't think it should be there.

I agree. Probably best to do some archaeology to determine when it crept in before deleting it.

We are using it in the Tomcat Jasper for jsp compilation.
I'm closing the bug as invalid.
