Description
aymen Mising name
Removed the required bundle version for org.eclipse.ui.console (can't expand to include previous version, i.e. [3.4.0,3.5.0] because of version conflicts with other eclipse plugins). Tested OK with helios SR2 and indigo RC2: org.eclipse.ui.console is only used in BPEL perspective - verified this still works. aymen, please verify and close this bug if OK. The previous problem is solved but when I tried to install the BPEL Designer once again I got the following problem : Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be found. Software being installed: BPEL Visual Designer 0.5.0.v20110614-1540-H75-CI (org.eclipse.bpel.feature.feature.group 0.5.0.v20110614-1540-H75-CI) Missing requirement: BPEL Visual Designer 0.5.0.v20110614-1540-H75-CI (org.eclipse.bpel.feature.feature.group 0.5.0.v20110614-1540-H75-CI) requires 'org.eclipse.jst.common.fproj.enablement.jdt.feature.group 3.2.2' but it could not be found So I add the following update site http://download.eclipse.org/releases/galileo/ to Eclipse installation. But the problem persists Then I add the following update site http://download.eclipse.org/releases/helios to Eclipse installation. And the problem has changed to become Cannot complete the install because of a conflicting dependency. Software being installed: BPEL Visual Designer 0.5.0.v20110614-1540-H75-CI (org.eclipse.bpel.feature.feature.group 0.5.0.v20110614-1540-H75-CI) Software currently installed: Eclipse XML Editors and Tools 3.1.1.v200907161031-7H6FMbDxtkMs9OeLGF98LRhdPKeo (org.eclipse.wst.xml_ui.feature.feature.group 3.1.1.v200907161031-7H6FMbDxtkMs9OeLGF98LRhdPKeo) Only one of the following can be installed at once: Eclipse Base UI extensions 1.1.402.v200901262305 (org.eclipse.wst.common.ui 1.1.402.v200901262305) Eclipse Base UI extensions 1.1.500.v200911190730 (org.eclipse.wst.common.ui 1.1.500.v200911190730) Cannot satisfy dependency: From: BPEL Visual Designer 0.5.0.v20110614-1540-H75-CI (org.eclipse.bpel.feature.feature.group 0.5.0.v20110614-1540-H75-CI) To: org.eclipse.wst.xml_ui.feature.feature.group 3.2.3 Cannot satisfy dependency: From: WST Common UI 3.1.1.v200908102300-7B5FRHDhdMOGnoekn4gtEJxSmPxV (org.eclipse.wst.common_ui.feature.feature.group 3.1.1.v200908102300-7B5FRHDhdMOGnoekn4gtEJxSmPxV) To: org.eclipse.wst.common.ui [1.1.402.v200901262305] Cannot satisfy dependency: From: WST Common UI 3.2.3.v201011031800-7C78FPlEdhO_oXWe4k_elbMgT1Lq (org.eclipse.wst.common_ui.feature.feature.group 3.2.3.v201011031800-7C78FPlEdhO_oXWe4k_elbMgT1Lq) To: org.eclipse.wst.common.ui [1.1.500.v200911190730] Cannot satisfy dependency: From: Eclipse XML Editors and Tools 3.1.1.v200907161031-7H6FMbDxtkMs9OeLGF98LRhdPKeo (org.eclipse.wst.xml_ui.feature.feature.group 3.1.1.v200907161031-7H6FMbDxtkMs9OeLGF98LRhdPKeo) To: org.eclipse.wst.common_ui.feature.feature.group [3.1.1.v200908102300-7B5FRHDhdMOGnoekn4gtEJxSmPxV] Cannot satisfy dependency: From: Eclipse XML Editors and Tools 3.2.3.v201102160550-7H7AFUWDxumQJOi9ghcTb5YgkwEZ (org.eclipse.wst.xml_ui.feature.feature.group 3.2.3.v201102160550-7H7AFUWDxumQJOi9ghcTb5YgkwEZ) To: org.eclipse.wst.common_ui.feature.feature.group [3.2.3.v201011031800-7C78FPlEdhO_oXWe4k_elbMgT1Lq] I removed the version numbers for the required WST features in feature.xml - this should do the trick ;) Smoke tested installation with galileo (3.5.2) helios (3.6.2) and latest indigo (3.7.final) These changes will be published on BPEL Designer update site by COB today.
