Description
Axel Uhl
Shell access is restricted to PLs and release engineers. If you're the rel-eng you need to have your PL +1 this(or have them send me an email). -M. I'm running the git migration of mdt/org.eclipse.ocl. Our releng, Adolfo, is only now ramping up his git knowledge. Adolfo told me I shall apply for ssh permission to be able to access the git repository and my home directory for ssh key storage for easier git handling. No? Ed, maybe you could +1 this if this helps. If all you want to do is upload your keys I can certainly extend you a shell for 24h to allow you to do that. -M. +1 Hopefully you can then solve the problems and pass solutions to me and Adolfo rather than hinting at what I might be able to do. Incidentally Bug 348470 showed khussey (mdt lead) rather than ewillink (mdt.ocl lead) as GIT owner so it may be that all project lead activities have to be done by Kenn rather than me. Ok I've given Axel a real shell. Kenns ownership was because Nick B. owned the CVS, and I knew that Kenn was the PL. Ed if you like I can make you the owner. -M. Thanks. Works like a charm. (In reply to comment #5) Thanks. > Kenns ownership was because Nick B. owned the CVS, and I knew that Kenn was the > PL. Ed if you like I can make you the owner. If it makes no difference, I see no need for a change. (In reply to comment #3) > If all you want to do is upload your keys I can certainly extend you a shell > for 24h to allow you to do that. Adolfo's the releng. Axel's just pioneering GIT for us. If two 'releng's breaks the rules, perhaps retract Axel's shell after a week rather than a day. (In reply to comment #7) > If it makes no difference, I see no need for a change. As long as the group permissions are ok(should be) then it's more of a 'cosmetic' issue. > Adolfo's the releng. I don't think there are issues with having more than one releng(backups are important). Now if you wanted 4 or 5 then I'd be asking you to narrow the list. -M. |
