When we are cloning the git repository, the note showing "Cloning...." is shown at the right most end of the top black banner. This is not easily visible.

For the first time, user might just be wondering what is happening until he happens to see the note at the rightmost side.

I think something like a busy icon or the note in very front similar to "Fetching..." note in editor would be more useful.

We could also animate in new status messages which would probably draw more attention.

The cloning operation uses the progress service.

I'd like to reopen this to look at after 0.2.

The other bug marked duplicate will be addressed in some ways for 0.2 (the progress message will move back to the left side, some improved styling).

But I think we want to do more afterward.
