Description Konrad Windszus CLA 2011-06-11 11:22:50 EDT
If I click on Preferences->Maven->Discovery->Open Catalog and try to install m2e-egit it just marks it with an error operation details. But I cannot see, due to which missing dependency that connector could not be installed. I don't even find any hints in the error log.

Probably this is due to an older egit version, installed on my Eclipse. Nevertheless you should display a helpful error dialog similar to the regular installation of plugins whenever there are some missing dependencies or conflicts of any kind.

I am seeing this exact situation, as well.
