Description Vincent Hémery CLA 2011-06-09 05:31:13 EDT
The last version of tutorials shall be kept up to date on both :
http://www.eclipse.org/modeling/mdt/papyrus/usersTutorials/usersTutorialsIndex.php
and on the SVN in doc/user/tutorials

The correct procedure would be to :

1. Make all tutorials available in this SVN repository
2. People who want to update these tutorials create a bug on the bugzilla, which blocks this bug. (same principle as subbugs of bug #263430)
3. Committers can update the tutorial in the SVN, with the associated bug.
4. Committers close the corresponding bug and post a new comment in this bug to inform that the tutorial has been updated.
4. Project leader (who is listening this bug) or someone else with correct access rights updates the tutorial with the new version on the web page.
Comment 1 Vincent Hémery CLA 2011-07-19 11:31:07 EDT
Template has been added to SVN to allow people creating new tutorials.

The activity diagram tutorial has been shared and updated with the new common template.

Updated procedure :

The correct procedure would be to :

1. Make all tutorials available in this SVN repository

2. People who want to update these tutorials create a bug on the bugzilla,
which blocks this bug. (same principle as subbugs of bug #263430)

3. Committers can create a new tutorial from the template in the SVN, or update the tutorial in the SVN, with the associated bug.

4. Committers close the corresponding bug and post a new comment in this bug to
inform that the tutorial has been updated. In case he does not have a contact to review his modification, he can ask in this comment for someone to do so.

5. The committer has someone reviewing the tutorial. (may be a co-worker, or another committer who has been asked through the comment in this bug)

6. The committer or the reviewer (if he is a committer) updates the tutorial with the new version on the web page. To do so, he has to update the CVS located at :
Host : dev.eclipse.org
Repository path : /cvsroot/org.eclipse
Module : www/modeling/mdt/papyrus/usersTutorials
The pdf version of the tutorial only and the usersTutorialsIndex.php needs to be updated.
