selecting a file context with a base and a target from the R4E navigator will open the compare editor and reflect the differences. However some times the compare editor will not reflect the changes in the left and right panel although the differences are populated in the structural differences tree in the top panel.

To reproduce: 

Add the following commit as a review item:

Problem is part addressed.  The compare editor opens correctly with the correct differences between versions, however, if the target file is taken from the workspace, opening the compare editor and single editor on the same file makes the single editor input dirty.  I still need to resolve this.

This is caused by a bug in the Mylyn Version Git connector reported in bug 349739.  Some changes were done and committed to the R4E project, but full resolution is dependent on resolving the above-mentionned bug
