Description Yann Tanguy CLA 2011-06-07 04:36:31 EDT
The "Cut" action should be disabled in diagrams.

The reason is that this feature has not been implemented in Papyrus, and default implementation only rely on basic EMF destroy / create not adapted for multidiagram. This can lead to diagram corruption.

I can reproduce this with Juno. For instance, if you cut a property within a composite class (composite structure diagram), then re-paste it do the same diagram, the resulting figure behaves strange, in particular it snaps to the wrong position when moved (likely because the figure is not a proper child of the composite class any more).
Cut/Paste works for other elements though, e.g. classes or interfaces in class diagrams.

Deactivation of the cut action is however already done in Kepler

Cut & Paste has been reimplemented for Luna. This should be fixed, Benoit?

Copy/Cut/Paste works fine in the current version
