This is a proxy for the issue originally reported as https://issues.sonatype.org/browse/TYCHO-333

It is requested that test failures do not lead to a failing build if the property maven.test.failure.ignore is set. This is typically needed when running a Tycho build from a CI server.

I applied the patch by committer Jan Sievers [1] (which was attached to TYCHO-333) with minor fixes to make the integration test project build as expected -> 8a65e15

After verifying the patch, I removed the test project (cace36d). IMHO this feature is so unlikely to break that I don't see the need for yet another integration test that takes more than 10 seconds to execute.
