Description Alvaro Sanchez-Leon CLA 2011-06-02 11:39:49 EDT
The properties view reflects the description of anomalies,
this description field is a one long line, not wrapping and forcing the user to use the horizontal scroll.
this should be reduced and scroll shall not be needed if the maximum width follows a proportion with the size of the actual view.

There is a problem with the Flat Form Composite used in the Tabbed Properties that does not wrap the text properly in Text widgets. This was also seen in other plugins that use the tabbed properties.

For now I will leave this bug aside, due to time constraints. We should look at it again later, maybe filing a bug on the tabbec properties view code

After discussing with the team. This issue was solved by preventing text wrapping in all input dialogs for multi-line fields. This way, users are encouraged to add CRLF (line feeds) within the text input. With line feeds in, formatting is preserved and the text shows as multiple lines in the properties view.

Since there is an issues with wrapping and tabbed properties, this is the best we can do for now
