... so that it is easy to create a new query showing open changes for an existing repository.

Some magic has to be done on the remotes to find out which gerrit task repository should be used (reverse mapping already done for 'Fetch change from task' feature).

Actually, there should be an option to add the Gerrit repository for the Git repository. Since it's essentially the same connection, you shouldn't have to configure it twice.
