Description Alex Blewitt CLA 2011-06-01 09:09:26 EDT
Testing the latest nightlies, and the egit compare dialog doesn't appear to work. If I do a 'compare against previous commit' I see the Git Tree view (which correctly lists the file changed) - but if I double-click on the file, I see a compare editor flashing up and then disappearing.

If I deselect the option 'reuse compare editor' then when I double click on the file, I see two compare editors opening up, showing exactly the same content. If I double click a second time, two more editors turn up.

Tried "Compare With > Previous Revision"
- on file: works
- on folder or package: doesn't work
Comment 4 Matthias Sohn CLA 2011-06-29 04:57:09 EDT
Tried this on EGit 1.0.0.201106090707-r (Indigo)

When "Reuse compare editor" is off it also works for folders if this option is on the compare dialog doesn't open on double click.
